SINGING BOWLS

The sound is generated by striking the bowl with mallet or by rubbing the rim by the mallet. The pitch of sound depends on the size, thickness and weight. The bowl is made with seven different metals namely, gold, silver, copper, tin, iron, mercury and lead. The common use of  singing bowl has been for meditative practices and healing works with sound therapy.

Basic Tibetan Singing Bowl Class

 

This hands-on class is given one-on-on or in small class setting.

The course will cover:

1: introduction to Tibetan singing bowls.
2: 7 bowls relaxation technique.
3: Chakra balancing technique.
4: Full body warm massage therapy using bowls and water.
Class registration:

Duration: The usual timing is 11am -1 pm & 2pm to 4pm.
Class Size: Class is taught individually or in small groups.
